Photography Workshop: Explore NYC Parks

FREE to participate

New York City has over 1,700 parks, playgrounds, and recreation facilities across the five boroughs. The parks are filled with stunning scenery, unique architecture, endless human activities, and personal memories. Through field trips and group discussions/critiques, participants will explore and develop new work on NYC Parks. This workshop is open to all genres (documentary, fashion, conceptual, etc.) and all photographic techniques (film, digital, cell phone, video, etc.)

All participants are required to be fully vaccinated to attend this in-person workshop.

Schedule:

Date: Sunday, September 12, 2021. 2pm – 6pm
Location: Central Park (Exact location will be notified to the selected participants)
Introduction of the workshop.
Group discussion of the project concept.
Field exploration in upper Central Park.

Date: September 13 – 18, 2021
This week is for participants to create work on their own.
I will be available for discussing work-in-progress in person or via Facetime.

Date: Sunday, September 19, 2021. 2pm – 6pm
Location: Central Park or an indoor venue (Exact location will be notified to the selected participants)
Participants will present work in a group critique.
